Open Source Software attracts people for a number of reasons. For some, the ability to examine and change the source code is important, and to make the software do what they want it to do. Others like the price - most Open Source Software is free. To others, the philisophy of open source is the most important aspect. And for some, being able to thumb their noses at the 'evil' software corporations is the deciding factor. For most people it is a mixture of these and still other reasons, and the only thing that you can really be sure of is that the discussions will not end soon.
